Pravin J. Mishra, MS, Ph.D.

Founder, President and CEO

Dr. Mishra holds Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine, oncology from The George Washington University and research training from National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, Rutgers University and Bhabha Atomic research Center. Dr. Mishra’s goal is to develop and support technologies/strategies to fight/cure cancer, which he believes is not impossible and may in fact just a matter of aligning resources and tools together. He has dedicated his life researching less known, yet important factors supporting cancer growth (example, tumor micro-environment), which seems to be a bottleneck in the research arena. He was the first one to demonstrate and publish that mesenchymal stem cells can differentiate and support cancer growth, this featured and highly cited study was later accepted in human clinical guidelines. His research effort at NIH led to the discovery of signature genes that may predict late stage melanoma patient survival and therefore may save multiple lives. This study was honored by Nobel laureate Harold Varmus and several other esteemed organizations.Dr Mishra is known for his unconventional perspective and has authored several studies and patents on 3D culture, wound healing, gene therapy and novel anti-cancer therapeutic strategies, also contributed in start up biotech ventures. Dr Mishra has selflessly helped several cancer patients and their family members.
